Why GravityDropper?

The precision cycling components that make the Gravity Dropper adjust up and down is mainly a compression spring. This spring is rated for 10 million cycles and is not affected by temperature. This means you can adjust your saddle height quickly and easily even if it is extremely cold out.

GravityDropper uses high grade aircraft aluminum consisting mostly of 2024 t-6. This allows us to build a dependable on the fly adjustable bicycle seat post.

Gravitydropper uses a standard derailer gear cable allowing the customer to buy a new cable for their adjustable bicycle seatpost at any bike shop.

The GravityDropper which allows you to control the height of your seat while riding without having to stop is comprised of 2 main components. The inside tube and the outside tube. This is seperated by teflon plastic riding between the two. This means no metal parts sliding against each other providing for a long wear life.

Graitydropper seatposts come in a variety of overall lengths to fit your leg length and bike size. We have the shortest telescoping adjustable seat post in the world at 275 mm for a 3 inch drop. We also have lenghts as long as 425 mm in a 4 inch drop. They come in increments of 25 mm.

The success of GravityDropper has come from the fact that the post is dependable and reliable. The simple mechanical design makes it easy to maintain. This allows you to instantly raise and lower your saddle.

Gravitydropper currently comes in a 27.2 diameter. We offer shims to provide customers with larger frames in 28.6, 29.2, 29.4, 29.6, 29.8, 30.0, 30.2, 30.4, 30.8, 30.9, 31.6, 31.8, and 34.9. We also manufacture smaller sizes in 26.8 and 27.0. Please note: The shims are only available for 27.2. We dont offer a shim that upsizes from a 26.8 or 27.0 so if you have a bike that is 26.8 and 30.0. You would need to purchase two posts.

All of our posts are available in a 2 inch, or a 3 inch , or a 4 inch drop. You can then choose if you want Standard UP/Down which has 2 positions, Up and Down. or a Multiposition post which has a 3rd position located 1 inch below the UP position. You get Up, down 1 inch, and all the way down. These options allow you to adjust your bike seat the way you want.

Each of our posts allow you to adjust your seat height while riding and are offered in a 2 inch or 3 inch or 4 inch or 5 inch drop post to fit your leg length, riding style.

Because of the mechanical nature of GraivityDropper, your riding positions are always in the same place. We believe this is better than having an infinite number of positions which make it hard to know where you post is exactly. You might get used to riding a section in the down 1 inch position. You want it to be the same every time. This is also extremely important with regards to the UP position. If you don’t sit all the way up with our post, it lets you know by sliding back down. If it didn’t, you wouldn’t know that you weren’t all the way up. The last thing you want to do is think you are all the way up and you aren’t. This can’t happen with the GravityDropper.

When you are locked in a positon or moving from one position to another, there is a solid locked feel because of the mechanical nature of the Gravity Dropper.

All of the adjustable height seat posts offered by Gravitydropper use a coil spring which provides for an extremely smooth operation. The posts are very quick as well. The Turbo is extremely fast.
